About Coffin Bay - Fishing
Coffin Bay has long been celebrated for its sensational Oysters. It is also a fishing "mecca" renowned for its protected waters and rich catch.

Even when its blowing, you'll always find someplace protected to try your luck. And if you venture out onto the open ocean, you're sure to catch a tasty deep sea monster or two.

Fish Beware !
The beauty of Coffin Bay as a fishing destination lies in the diversity of its waters and the plenitude and variety of fish. Believe it or not, the kids can actually catch fish from the town jetty and the boat ramp, or from any of the pristine beaches in the National Park.

Boaties don't need to go far to drown some bait - whiting, snapper and even kingfish can be caught in the channel.

Further out, fish snaring odds increase; the Brothers, the Oyster Leases and Farm Beach are favorite spots for gar, whiting, trevally and salmon trout... and a host of canny fishermen.
