"We stopped at Coffin Bay for the night on our way to Ceduna and the next day simply cancelled our plans to move on.

The beauty of the area aside, we just couldn't go past the welcome and the value for money offered by a stay at Snapper View.

Since that first visit to Coffin Bay more than five years ago, we've been back for holidays several times, and never wanted to stay anywhere else.

The units are well-equipped, comfortable and quiet, and Barry is terrific."

"We drove our Landcruiser to Gunyah. It was Christmas, sunset, and of course we got hopelessly bogged and faced a 30km trek out of the Park in the dark.

Finally we got mobile reception at the top of a sand-dune and put in a call to the owner of Snapper View. Barry was fantastic - he and the local RAA man swept in like the calvary an hour later and pulled the cruiser out.

It was 11pm before we got back to the units. We made Barry stay with us until way past midnight, celebrating our appreciation of his "Xmas Mercy Dash."
